GPS Status & Toolbox is a travel app by MobiWIA EeclipSim. The GPS and sensor data will display the position and signal strength of satellites, speed, and acceleration. In case of an emergency, the app allows users to share their current location with friends and family. It also contains a magnetic compass with true north for wilderness fans taking a journey through the woods. The GPS is fast so users can download current maps and stay up to date on current locations.
If you need to track someone else’s phone such as your children or employees, you can simply use a cell phone tracking app such as copy9. This is a very small app that can be installed in just a few simple steps and takes only 2-3 minutes to complete. Once installed the app stays hidden on the phone but keeps track of every activity on the phone including its GPS location, Call Logs, Text Messages and more.
You will have to download and install the app onto the target phone of whose location and activities you want to track. Installation takes only a few minutes during which you should have the target phone in your hand.
Once the installation is complete, the tracking process will begin immediately and the recorded logs are silently uploaded to your copy9 account. The next version of Gps Tracker comes with a WordPress plugin and also an Android client. The plugin is available on the WordPress plugin website and you can install it directly from your WordPress install. The source code for the plugin is also now available in the Gps Tracker Github repo and Sourceforge download. The software is dual licensed. The reason why I use MIT is because GPS Tracker has been licensed that way since the beginning and I wanted to maintain the same licensing for any new software added to GPS Tracker .

Users can take advantage of these services to check on family and friends at their exact locations. Pictures of family and friends can be incorporated into map icons. The GPS tracking system can also locate a phone thats been misplaced or stolen. Users just need to log in into the website, and click on the map and the phone will show up on icons.
